Episode 4 of me playing MC

 

Side notes.

How is everyone doing? I hope all is going well with everyone out there that reads this. I'm doing good so thank you for asking. So now down to business.

So in todays episode of me playing minecraft. You will see me trying to find ore and failing at it epic-ly. I also go hunting for pigs which went much better. Other then that it was a simple episode. I tried to make the sound loader so hopefully it worked and you can hear the video’s without having to turn up the speakers so load. I hope everyone enjoys it.

MineCraft video 3. The Basics of house keeping.

 

In todays installment of Minecraft and me. I will be showing you some of my house keeping tips. Keep in mind this is just the way I play the game. Others and your methods could be better for you. So we continue are mission of making a safe haven from the monsters of minecraft. Monsters such as creepers, endermen and those evil evil evil sheep.

My quest for coal.

 

This is my 2nd MC video. The title is Salithox’s quest for coal. Wont you come along with me and see if I found the coal? I’m sorry for the darkness of the video, this is why it is so important to find coal in MC. Without it you spend all your nights in darkness and fear of things that will go boom. As you will see I left the safety of my hole and that didn’t bode well for me. So come on in kick your feet up and enjoy my follies in my world of MineCraft.

Fraps and Minecraft.

 

So today I bought Fraps. This is in preparation for if/when I start the podcast with one Preston. So after the break below you will be able to watch a video I record of just me starting a new world in minecraft. I am using the Technic Mod.  Now this is the first video I ever tried recording and editing myself. So there is dead air in it and I'm sorry for that.

 

Game Dev Story.

 

So I'm watching smack down while typing this and eating and orange. so I'm sorry if there's lot of mistakes.

Today ill be talking about a android game called, Game Dev Story. It is a game about running your own game development company. This would make it a sim style game. You pick the system, type, and genre for the game to make. Then you set your team of coders, writers, designer, and sound people to work. After the game is done it gets reviewed and rated then sold. The goal is to more or less make money.  It is a really addictive game. You have been warned.

Todays update will be made up completely of monkeys. Well not really monkeys but monkey statements? Ok I really don’t know what I'm talking about right now.  Ok well the monkey is after the break so make sure to click on it.

Small update for a small day.

 

So there's nothing really big happening today. Only thing I can think of is that the president was at Intel giving a speech.

Um, I'm downloading the Gotham City Impostors beta hopefully that will be fun to play. Minecraft is always fun so you should all check it out.

So today on the way home once again I was almost rear ended. Really its like every week now someone try's to hit me. Its almost like someone took a hit out on my car maybe. Raw Super Show.

 

Hey Broski’s  I'm sorry to say that I wont really have any type of good post tonight. I just got home from the Raw Super Show, and I have to be up in a few hour for work. So for tonight I'm going to leave you with some stuff to ponder. Do you like how they are hyping up Y2J? Do you think CM Punk will keep his title? Last of all what will happen to John Cena as he embraces the hate?

PS, the event was great and I had a blast. Its all thanks to my sister and brother in law. They got me and my dad tickets to it for Christmas. So Thank you Lauren and Josh.

Few Android Game Review.

 

Here is the review I said id post today. ^_^ Ps all the games are for free. Some do have paid versions if you'd like to support the developer.

1. Tiny Tower – In this game of towers that are tiny, you just build yourself a tower. People move in and get jobs. As they work you get money. But you need to pay attention and restock the jobs build more floor help people find others. Over all it’s a good time waster game.
2. Zen Pinball THD – Well if you ever played Zen pinball on the PS3 then you know what you expect here. If you haven’t well your in for a treat. Now on the android version of this game you only get one table to play. That is ok thou because on a tablet it plays perfectly. Looks are amazing on it, controls are responsive, and its enjoyable to sit back and play pinball without wasting quarters.
3. Burn the City Free – This is a angry birds clone for the most part. It has its own way of making itself stand apart thou. Instead of getting X amount of shots, you can shoot as many times as you need to beat the level. The thing is your scored on speed and how many shots it takes. There are different types of shots you can make as well. Over all it’s a decent game to play if you want a change from the birds that can by very angry at times.
4. Angry Birds – Well speak of the devil, its angry birds next in the list. There are many installments of this game. From the original  to season to Rio. The game is simple enough. Pigs stole your eggs you want them back. The birds go on a suicide mission to get the eggs. You need to knock down building and the like to stop the pigs using the birds as your ammo. Over all it’s a fun time wasting game.
5. GodVille – Ok so you might be thinking What is GodVille. Well your in luck cause I'm going to tell you. Have you ever played an RPG but felt the grind was to much? Or have you just wanted to see the outcome of your quests? Well with this game you can put all that behind you. It is known as a ZRPG, which stands for Zero Role Playing Game. Now you might be saying what is a Zero mean in the RPG. That’s a simple answer as well. It means that you don’t need to do anything. You make your name, your hero's name and then you interact as much or as little as you want too. The hero will go about his quest and life on his own. You as his personal god can help or hinder him as you see fit. Read the funny interactions he has without having to do all the grinding yourself.  But be warned it is text based so no pictures. Over all I enjoy this game when on break at work or just out and about being bored, I hope on to read about what my hero is up too.

Weekend is here.

 

So how is everyone's weekend go so far? Mine is ok, I've been catching up on TV shows. Shows such as The Nerdist, Being Human, and Merlin. If you haven't seen any of the shows I recommend all of them. Most of which and be seen on Netflix's or bought off I-Tunes. Well tonight is a dull night. I've watched Speed Racer the movie on Blu-ray. It is an amazing movie even if there are a lot of people out there that don’t like it.

Today was a long day, right now I'm watching project runway all-stars. I know I know. The News for today is that both bills were pull for now. But they will most likely be back in some way shape and form. So be ever vigil for there return.

News after the protest.

 

So what happened today after the stop SOPA protest was as followed. The hacker group ANON shut down the MPAA and RIAA, as well as a few other sites. This was in retaliation to the government shutting down MegaUpload.com in the early morning after the protest. I am unsure if the protest was the cause of the website getting shutdown however. As I learn more I will post more.

Blackout to protest SOPA/PIPA

 

So I wasn’t going to post anything today. But I thought well I don’t really have any follower or readers to notice me missing a post in protest to SOPA/PIPA. So instead I'm going to post to let you know my standing on the topic. I'm sure you noticed that some sites are blacked out today. This is the internet’s way to combat the bills. It is showing people how it will look when/if the bills pass. As I'm sure you can tell if you know me that is, I'm against the two bills. They are very loosely written to the point that big business would be able to use the government as there own personal law firm. Below is a link to a petition that will be emailed to your local congress men. If you are against the two bills please sign fill out the info in the link.

Here are just a few of the sites that are protesting the bills are:

MGL story’s part 4.

Side Notes: If anyone wants to join my server on SWTOR please fell free to I am playing on Warriors of the Shadow Empire side. Name on there is Salithox as if I had to say. On another side note,  I might be starting a podcast with Preston. But ok now to the story.
The year is 19ot6, well ok that wasn’t the year. I don’t remember how far back this happened so bare with me. One night at MGL after I was off work but before the place was closing, Me and a Manger were over closing part of the the park for the night when we saw smoke coming from the side of the place. We rushed over to the spot and saw that the children's play place was on fire. So we help get people out of the building and the play place. Call the fire department, etc. etc. Then after the place is cleared and safe I start calling other workers that think like me and let them know the place is on fire and we all laughed and enjoyed the show. Sadly it didn’t burn down are work. (not many people like working at MGL but we did it cause we needed too). A few days later then, people got awards from work for help and being smart and stuff. Yet when it came to me and the manager that did a lot of it we got nothing not even a mention. Wouldn’t you know it the life guards took all the credit. Figures huh?

The yellow Geo.

 

Side notes: How was everyone's weekends? Leave comments and let me know.

So tonight's story takes us to Preston’s yellow Geo. The night was sometime ago. The destination forgotten. The people involved me, Preston, Dandoy, and Brandon. So there we are coming home from doing something or other. We are going up the off ramp from the freeway when the yellow Geo died. As we get out and start pushing the car up the off ramp (I forgot my belt so my pants were falling down while doing this), we pass by 3 or 4 cop cars just sitting there watching us. They didn’t even help or offer to help. We ended up pushing the car up the off ramp and around the corner to a nearest parking lot. Then we called Brandon to come bring us oil. He said NO as normal of Brandon, but we talked him into it. Then he did and we all fought over simple stuff like bring us to the gas station to get said oil and so-on. Everyone gets rides home myself included but at least I waited for Preston's dad to come get his car with him before I left with my dad.

MGL Story’s part 3

 

Side notes: I made a great breakfast today. 3 over easy eggs toast and bacon. yum. Today I'm going to try and veg out while playing SWTOR or watching How I met your mother. Now onto the story.

 

Todays story of MGL is about falling into a bush and not remember it. So doing bike security in 110 degree heat is never really smart. Well there I was riding around the parking lot with no hands (had to do something to pass the time). After a few circuits around the lots (like 2 hours worth) I ended up waking up in the lifeguard office. It would seem at some point the heat got to me and I crashed into a bush. Ah good times.

MGL Story’s part 2

 

Side notes first. I have no real news today. So ill hope right into the story.

Today will be the tale of how someone (me) managed to hit the only real spot of cement in MGL. So the tale begins with me trying to help a friend Preston get a date. The way I went about this was by “barrowing his keys” so he would have to get a ride with a coworker. Preston did not want to go along with this plan thou. This is when things started to go down hill for me. Brandon showed up at MGL shortly after I had “barrowed” the keys. Preston enlisted his help to get them back. Brandon decided the best way to was to choke me with my work shirt ( had it just on my shoulder cause I was off work). To my credit I didn’t let go till I blacked out from lack of air. Now the rest of this is a little fuzzy to me as I was blacked out, but it went something like this. I fell back when I blacked out and my head managed to land on the only spot of cement in  like a 20 foot radius. As Preston and Brandon would tell it my head bounced a few times. Then I got up and was in a daze. We all had a good laugh afterwards. The end.

MGL Story’s part 1

 

So some side notes first. Parents made it home from Hawaii safely but they had delays so they didn’t get in till 10pm. Happy Friday everyone hope you all have a good weekend. Now onto the story.

When me, Preston, Rob, and a few others worked at MGL. Well every season they bring in these big blue drink chest things. We load them with ice and bottled drinks to sell. As you can figure the ice melts we add more and more. So by the end of the night that water is very cold in the chest. We played how long can we keep are hands in the water. Somehow one time we talked Preston to putting his head in the water. He did and lasted about 10 seconds or so. When he pulled his head out of the water you could see how cold he was. Its was colder then the water when you freeze your head to dip in hot wax. Ah MGL good times and story's ever made there.

So how is everyone doing today?  I myself am doing ok thank you for asking… thinking. ^^  Side note: Parents flight delayed not getting home till like 11pm now.

So todays story is about to people I know. One person is called Preston and the other is called Josh. Preston does not like Josh. Josh things he is friends with Preston. One faithful night at work (MGL) after they closed, we were all hanging out there. Preston and Josh started a playful fight. I don’t know how it happened, but Preston got Josh in a headlock by the water fountain and started splashing him with water. Then like a bat out of hell Preston was gone and I swear there was a cloud of dust suddenly. Without missing a beat Josh chased Preston around the building while I was just laughing my ass of. So there you have it a funny story to lighten your night.

So I watched Airplane and Airplane 2 over the weekend. They are great movies. If you’ve never seen them you should. What else happened this weekend. I played some Star wars The Old Republic. It is an amazing game. Its an MMORPG that takes place many moon’s before the Star Wars movies. Ill try and get some screen shots of the game for everyone to see.

Ride home from work.

 

So on my ride home from work yesterday. I saw a Car accident. It happened to the car in the suicide line. A car was turning out from the lot in rush hour and a car came down the suicide line to get to the light instead of waiting. (that is only my guess) And they hit each other. Normally I wouldn’t think much of it out of the normal other then are they ok and stuff. But the card that got hit swerved into my line. so yeah it almost hit me then too.

Update:  When going out to lunch with Amber, we saw a car get rear ended today (01/07/2012) So within the last 2 days I've seen 2 accidents around 5-10 feet from my car.

I am ok and so is everyone else. I just wanted to let you know about it. Tomorrow will have the Part 2 of the manga’s I like to and want to read list. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Today I'm going to talk about some manga's that I enjoy reading. Now If you don’t know what a manga is I will tell you. A manga is a Japanese comic plan and simple. You do read it backwards and from right to left, but once you get use to it they are a great read. After the break ill be giving you a rundown of the manga's I read on a weekly basis and the ones that I recommend to fans of anime.

Random News and Xmas gifts 01-04-12

 

This post is untitled as of writing this. That being said I don’t know what to blog about today. So ill just give some updates as to what is going on. On January 23 I will be going to WWE Raw here at the US Airways in PHX. That will be fun cause ill be going with my dad. Work is going well. Parents are in Hawaii for 10 days. I hope they have a great time.

Sadly its back to wok today when most other people are off. They really messed up this year on the holiday timing. But meh. So I'm working on my Resolution of posting more. And as you can see I've already done that but posting this. As apposed to last year where I only posted like 2 days before the year ended. lol
